Hi! I’m Laura Boatman (aka Boaty), a Sydney-based acrylic artist who loves working with vibrant colour. I specialise in pet portraits and animal art and my mission is to create uplifting, high vibe pieces, that radiate positivity and joy. 10% of each pet portrait that I create is donated to animal rescue to support animals in need.

Commission Your Custom Artwork In Three Easy Steps!

1. Select your canvas size

Choose from a variety of canvas sizes. If your desired size is not listed, please get in contact with me. I use premium cotton stretched canvases as standard, unless otherwise specified. You also have the option to add on a frame if you wish - I offer black, white and oak canvas frame options.

2. Select your background colour

Please describe what background colour you would like. As standard, I paint a plain coloured background so please provide as much detail on the shade as possible/or send an example. If you’re not sure what colour will work for your commissioned piece I can help you select one! For other background options, please send me an email

3. Send me a photo of your pet

What happens next?

Once your portrait is commissioned, I’ll contact you with an estimated delivery date (usually 3–6 weeks). You’ll receive a preview before shipping so you can request small adjustments.
